Cheers Joelc 11-07-2005, 01:59 Paint Shop Pro, or Photoshop are good, and both are quite easy to use, there are many gides and howtos to get you started on either. Joel adaline 11-07-2005, 02:05 Photoshop is surtainly the dady, its got my vote. not sure about ease of use burt thers plenty of help available  Vini 11-07-2005, 07:38 psp is simple and easy to get on with, photoshop is the daddy if you know how to use it... ... i dont... rich951 11-07-2005, 08:04 Remember to have a look at Photoshop Elements. Given that most people seem to pirate Photoshop, price might not be an issue, but Elements has an awful lot of the tools of Photoshop for a fraction of the price... And it quite often comes free with hardware such as scanners :) Paint Shop Pro is also definitely worth a look, especially as it has a 30 day trial copy available for download. I've gone off it a little bit personally since v7 when suddenly all the menus got rearranged, but it's still good. Also worth considering (especially as it's free!) is Picasa (http://picasa.google.com/index.html) from Google, although I think they "developed" it by buying up another company. Has some pretty good looking photo editing tools, and a file browser interface that looks inspired by iTunes. Takes forever to scan your drives though! :) As in any graphics software thread, I'll also plug the GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) and IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/), both of which are free. Bear in mind they are aimed at slightly different markets than PSP and Photoshop. I tend to use IrfanView for batch conversion of files (it has lots of nice options), and these days don't tend to use the gimp at all as my work tends to be more Photoshop-specific. karl101 11-07-2005, 15:19 Picasa is really a picture viewer, but it has some basic photo adjusting functions. http://picasa.google.com/index.html It's free. I think its very good.
