Hi,
I'm going to this gig tomorrow but unfortunately the person who has my ticket wants to go as soon as gates open at 1400.
Does anyone know how ridiculous the drinks prices are?
If I'm there for that long then I don't wanna be paying £6 a pint (Like Kings of Leon Doncaster Dome gig c. 2002)
I went when they played at Eastlands 3 years ago and it was fiver a pint, tommorow, just going to a few bars beforehand and probably get in for 6 when the heavyweights come on.
Dont let the drink prices put you off, just enjoy the night and worry about the money later!
haha, I am not interesting about that!!
It is too dear!!

I agree it is a rip-off but unless you're planning on having a skinfull its not going to make a huge difference to the overall cost of the day.

I will be there tomorrow, but reluctant to get there early cos of the weather. It's gonna be a long and miserable day as it is without the extortionate prices.

God aren't you lot a load of misery guts.
What happens when it rains? Do you melt? A bit of rain never hurt anyone. yes sunshine would be better but you'll be fine!!
You've paid enough for your ticket, just go and enjoy it OR give it to me, I'll go and enjoy it and you can stay home in the dry with a can of lager and be happy

Haha no need, Edna.
I went and it was pretty awesome. Oasis, Kasabian and The Enemy were all great. The weather wasn't that bad in the end, mainly staying dry all day. The beer wasn't that expensive either, at £3.50 a pint, so I wasn't complaining. Anyhow, took bloody ages to get out of Heaton Park and took absoutely ages to get away from the park and ride so I am a little sleep deprived at the moment, but who cares?! I am off to bed now :)
