Can anybody recommend what Andover street is like? I'm thinking of buying a house there... any comments????

I think you will make some money if you buy the house. There is alot of new development that has got approval around there, so I dont think in terms of money you will do badly.

A friend of mine used to live on that road years ago; it is a very steep hill right in the heart of the Burngreave Development area leading on to Snig Hill. Although it is in the centre of a major regeneration project there are well known problems with the Burngreave Project such as the release of funds and getting things done.

I would be inclined to do a fair amount of research before going ahead with a purchase. Also it would be a good idea to do the standard checks with your neighbours to see that you can get on with them.

My neighbour used to work on the Burngreave Regeneration Project for a bit; If you'd like more info I could ask them but dont know much more about it than this
