If there is anyone out there who is able to get to Castle college on Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Friday's for waxing & facial treatments & eyebrow shaping. My daughter is on a beauty therapy course and has only 3 weeks left to get these assessments done otherwise she will fail the course, she has been let down by people who have said they would help her. I want to say thankyou to the people that have responded to my post , however we still need some more people to come forward.

Hi what time are the appointments?

The sessions are Tuesdays 1pm-5pm, Wednesdays 2.30-5pm and Fridays 12.30-3pm, what we really need is for someone to have a bikini wax - come people be brave and be surprised at how little it hurts!

If anyone is interested in any of the beauty treatments at castle college, then just give them a ring and ask for the beauty dept and they will try to help you to get an appointment thats fits in with you. I do know that clients are required for the VRQ beauty level 2, especially for waxing treatments. the costs vary from £2:50 to £10:00 depending on the treatment of course. The students do really need your help to pass their course and you will not be their first client so please dont worry and in this time of the credit crunch where else could you help students and watch the pennies.

I've been this afternoon. Really impressed. Tutors are on hand to advise and coach.

I had the waxing and didn't feel any pain.

Nothing to fear and it really is helpng the students as they need to have done a certain number of each treatment before they can pass the course.

Thankyou for letting everyone else know that there is nothing to worry about, if they are thinking of goingfor a treatment. I wouls say though at the moment it's a bit undecided as to how bad the rain has affected the college, we are waiting to hear if its open as normal tomorrow.

I just want to say a big thankyou to everyone who has helped my daughter, she has her last session tomorrow then she has done all of her client-assessments. There are still some people in her class that still need to finish theirs so if anyones interested please contact Sheffield College for advice about making an appointment. Thanks again to everyone.
