all the other channels work apart from 101 to 104 and itv2 itv3 and 4 saying no satalite signal being recieved.

Put it on standby then unplug it. Take the card out, give the chip a wipe and put it back in. After 30 seconds plug it back in and it will reboot. When it's finished rebooting it will go to the sky guide channel. *

Then check if the channels still don't work. If they don't, you may need to ring sky.

*This usually solves about 99% of problems with sky boxes.

allready tryed that unless its something to do with on skys part as it has nly been doing it for a few days unless they are updating i dont know,

yes there are being sent out but we have not recieved ours yet unless they arnt sending them out yet.

Sky are useless, my box packed up other day and I rang them to tell them they said "well its out of warrenty would you like to take out extended warrenty" er No ill just cancell my account to be replied with "oh actually i have just been told we can send you a new box and fit it for free" wow what a coincidence

TBH, i'd just pull the mains on it, leave it a few seconds and plug it back in. You don't need to do all that card wiping stuff

well i got sky+ box off here and just connected it up with the sky dish we allready have and it has been working fine up untill yesterday and just those channels arnt working but every other channel is.

So this has been happening only since you swapped to the + box?

My sky+ box sometimes records without the sound! how annoying!!! argh

Mine's started switching itself off.

What's surprising is that I didn't even notice.:hihi:
