We have been playing in the south yorkshire amateur league for the last 2 years and have just been promoted this season.

We are looking for players to improve the team. We train during the season at Powerleague at Attercliffe and we play our home games at Hinde House school with Excellent facilities and pitch.

Our team is a BME team , most players from the burngreave area . We are an open age team.

Subscriptions (subs) are £2 per game and £1 per training and a £3 registration fee.

The games are saturday afternoons 2/3pm ko.

Hi Yemenig. It's good to see BMEs being actively encouraged to take part in football. I still think many groups are very under-represented (male and female).

I do despair a little though, at sporting teams appearing to be recruiting on the basis of ethnicity - as I think sport gives us the chance to work in teams together.

I am 24 years old and enjoy playing football in a defensive position, usually left/right back.

I am looking for a team to play with as I am new to Sheffield, having moved down from Aberdeen where I studied at Uni. I am looking for a team that plays socially to make new friends.

I can play on Saturdays and Sundays on the vast majority of weekends (although I have a job in hospital and sometimes I work on the weekends). I live in Netherthorpe area (in the vicinity of the Kelham Island Pub) but can probably play for most teams that are based in the area surrounding the city centre.

Yep these guys are a decent team, we played them twice last season and drew both games. Hopefully we can do one better this year having added to the squad

We played FC FALCONS on sunday and the game ended 0-0 But there keeper (falcons) made some great saves , and some he had no way of getting but some how did !
