I am a researcher working for a new television show called “Living Dangerously” for BBC 1. It’s about natural disasters and people who have survived them.

You may well remember the horrific floods of 2007 in Sheffield. There was a particular incident involving a young lad who rescued a pensioner from the rising waters around Herries Road (just opposite Sheffield Wednesday) that we are trying to find footage/pictures of.

Do you or anyone you know have any record of this event or indeed and other events that might have happened during this time in 2007?
