Do you think that starbucks is too expensive

Oh jeez, another Starbucks thread....:help:

Visitors from another planet would think that people in Sheffield are only interested in Starbucks and busses.

But we are surely :-)

Never been 2 one in the UK. How much does it cost ?

Never been to Starbucks either, UK or anywhere else. How much is their cup of coffee then? I'm intrigued now.

I cant stand coffee so never been....

What other drinks do they serve ? seen some kids at meadowhall with some kind of juice but not sure what they are.

Only in the same way that designer clothes are too expensive. The value of the cup of coffee is probably no more than 20p but people like to be seen there, like the type of people there and the coffee may be slightly better than in a greasy caff. Anybody who thinks the above is rubbish doesn't have to go there.

If they were too expensive, no-one would go and they would go bust.

I'll be honest and say straight out, its crap coffee.

It's the same marketing ideas that make McD's a mint.

Crap, bottom of the barrel products sold with extremely clever marketing and oversensationalised to the point of you must accept it and have it, or your not normal like everyone else!

Make your own, for a guarantee of quaility, but for take away purposes, I'd go for costa coffee. .

Costas is nice but expencive

Starbucks is expensive but i don't think i ever heard them claiming to be cheap, coffee drinking is almost a disgner habbit these days anyway. There's plenty of cheap cafes where you can get an average cup of tea or coffee. I'd only go to starbucks or costa coffe to impress someone but not because i like the coffe
