need replacement for tiny computer circa 2002/03, windows xp recovery disc. been to 'the computer world' / tiny shop at meadowhall retail park and are available for £30 from their customer srevices department. is their are better option ?
Well, if you have a valid WinXP Licence sticker on the side of your case, just find someone with a full copy of XP, Its perfectly legal to use it to install it, as long as you have a valid licence key, according to microsoft support.

I doubt that would work though, would it?
On a Tiny system the OS will be built in to the system. The recovery disks only reset the system back to fresh. They don't actually install the OS.
I would think that the product key wouldn't work with any other XP installation :(
It does, I've done it before with various things. Just a bit more of a long winded way of doing it as you have to find all your own drivers and apps.
Depends how well you know PC's, it can be a bit of a PITA to do it from scratch which is why they supply recovery discs.
