He has appeared to a Welsh family on the underside of a Marmite lid.

Story here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/8071865.stm)

The woman who found it is worried that people will think she is nuts. Really, whatever would give her that idea :loopy: :D

Maybe it is just a symbolic and obscure way of saying "contains yeast"...

For some reason people find food that looks like jesus and cats that look like hitler - there is rarely any crossover.

Everyone is nuts in their own way. The lady who is always smiling and wears the white uniform told me so!

"People might think I'm nuts, but I like to think it's Jesus looking out for us.

"We've had a tough couple of months; my mum's been really ill and it's comforting to think that if he is there, he's watching over us."
 Err surely if an all powerful all knowing super being was watching out for you you'd be having a great not a tough time?

That's a most impressive piece of doublethink she's got going on there.

Weird, I had a cat that looked like hiter and he and I both hate marmite [me and the cat that is, how hitler felt about the devil's dung is a mystery to me].

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pareidolia

The term pareidolia describes a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant. Common examples include seeing images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon, and hearing hidden messages on records played in reverse. The word comes from the Greek para- —"beside", "with" or "alongside"- meaning, in this context, something faulty or wrong (as in paraphasia, disordered speech)—and eidolon—"image" (the diminutive of eidos—"image", "form", "shape"). Pareidolia is a type of apophenia.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apophenia

Apophenia is the experience of seeing patterns or connections in random or meaningless data. The term was coined in 1958 by Klaus Conrad,[1] who defined it as the "unmotivated seeing of connections" accompanied by a "specific experience of an abnormal meaningfulness".

In other news Jesus can also appear from the arse end of a dog! I have pictorial evidence here too!!

There's a good video about Pareidolia here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x9fkQlxfvw), which demonstrates the Pareidolia most effectively by playing back rock records containing 'hidden messages' with and without suggestions about what that hidden message is.

I atleast could 'hear' the messages after they had been suggested but not before.
