I saw it clearly as we landed at Beijing airport , in Feb. , at about 9 .am. and it was a clear , sunny day. Also I was in Beijing , a few weeks ago but didn't get chance to visit the Wall but I hope to see it properly before I return home. I see the bloke is attempting to jump it today ! It's now 5.30.p.m. , here , so I'll see if there's anything on the English news channel. To be honest , although I'd never dare do anything like Mr. Way is doing , I do sort of admire people like that ------and all eccentrics---------we British have always been known for , "going" in where Angels fear to tread , haven't we ? It's farily narrow in places so should be do-able....then again the narrow bits I saw were high up and on the edge of a great drop, so not really practical to get a good run up to.
