In my opinion she is too big for a tank, she is free to roam around the garden and downstairs of the house (not carpeted areas). She does not need any lights or pen if she spends time outside (make sure the garden is secure.) I bring her in each night at the moment. When the nights warm up she says in the garden.
Her diet consists of anything she finds in the garden with the addition of the usuall treat food for tortoises, apples, tomatoes, grapes, and lettuce, lambs lettuce, spinach if its new growth, crushed egg shells or a calicum supplement. She has taken a liking for clover at the moment.

I am happy to give any advice to ensure our tortoise remains healthy at any time after purchase. Including hibernation.

Some good advice given, especially not to live in a tank!! but as a tortoise keeper may I suggest looking at the tortoise trust who will gladly rehome your tortoise?
