I have thyme, parsley, lemon balm and basil seedlings which the children sowed a few seeds in a pot a few weeks ago and are now about the right stage to prick out I think (1st set of proper leaves). When I prick out am I better putting a few seedlings together in the same pot or putting them in individual pots? Are herbs better left to grow as they are or is it better to prick out the growing tip to get them to go bushier? These are all going to be planted in a 6 section herb pot at school eventually (1 herb per section), but I am going to have lots left over that I was thinking of putting into a hanging basket or container - will this work or will I need to do separate containers for some of the herbs?
