And what network? ie vodafone, BT etc Carl_Malibu 08-07-2005, 20:54 well thanks a ****ing lot south yorkshire police im home alone all weekend, I'm 16, Ive just been told there are many people after me, they know where i live, they know who i am what school i goto etc. etc. I ring up syps and some very indifferent guy tells me theres nothing I can do theyll send a car round soon but wont tell me when maybetoday maybe tomorrow im ****ing terrified and this is what i get. candystick 08-07-2005, 20:56 Can't you go and stop with relatives or friends, or get some one to stop with you. Police won't do anything unless something actually happens! They don't seem to like trying to prevent a crime. Carl_Malibu 08-07-2005, 21:18 not too happy with the ****ing state of sheffield, or the police rargh miniminch 08-07-2005, 21:25 Originally posted by Carl_Malibu im home alone all weekend, I'm 16, Ive just been told there are many people after me, they know where i live, they know who i am what school i goto etc. etc. How did ya **** em all off? foxy 08-07-2005, 21:33 you wanna ring police back and say the gang came round, so you've tied them up and are poking them with sawn off shotgun. They'll be round in a few mins ;) DISCLAIMER: Please don't actually do this ;) I don't suppose you told any mates you were gonna be home alone? I'd guess its someone you know messing about. LellyBee 08-07-2005, 21:42 I can understand this is a bit scary for you. Is there nobody at all you can call to come and keep you company for the night, nobody you can go to? I hope it is just some of your friends p**sing you about, but unfortunately the police won't rush to your aid unless a crime is committed, which is no consolation to you. If all else fails, and you're still feeling vulnerable, then 'phone your parents and let them try to arrange something for you. Carl_Malibu 08-07-2005, 23:22 its sorted local bobbies came round were really friendly sorry SYPS I LOVE YOU REALLY! i think its all dealt with, and i have lots of sharp knives... Siān 08-07-2005, 23:33 Originally posted by LellyBee unfortunately the police won't rush to your aid unless a crime is committed Making a threatening phonecall is a crime. It's just a matter of the number of emergencies they're dealing with pushing a report like that further down the queue. Glad you got it sorted Carl - hope you feel safer now. robbie 08-07-2005, 23:38 Originally posted by Carl_Malibu well thanks a ****ing lot south yorkshire police im home alone all weekend, I'm 16, Ive just been told there are many people after me, they know where i live, they know who i am what school i goto etc. etc. I ring up syps and some very indifferent guy tells me theres nothing I can do theyll send a car round soon but wont tell me when maybetoday maybe tomorrow im ****ing terrified and this is what i get. we may have disagreements but if you need any help pm me and I'll be there. Tell BT (or your phone network supplier). They might arrange to intercept calls, and possibly even trace abusive callers. Have a whistle by the phone. If you get another abusive call, simply blast the whistle down the line. But let's hope this doesn't happen again. |
