I have a new training course starting soon.
Unfortunately, for those of you wanting to return, they are the same as you've already done, but we will get some new ones off the ground - just need to find a time and day suitable when I can also have a venue!
However I am thinking of starting another course on a Tuesday evening - if any of you are interested please let me know it will either be further basics or tricks - let me know if you're after either!
The courses that are starting are suitable for adults and pups and we've actually had some really great success with them recently (they've much improved from the first ones I ran!) so I'm looking forward to the next ones - so much so that I'm not even taking a break between Friday courses :|
Please note that the dates given are only what I have planned and if you wish to attend but would be missing a week for holidays or whatever, please let me know because a break in the middle of the course can be incorporated if need be.
Fridays 7:30 - 8:30/9pm
The next Friday classes will be starting on the 26th June and running for 8 weeks
The course covers dog and human socialisation, handling of the body, self control, focus with distractions, basic positions, loose lead walking, recall, stay, leave and play manners.
There is a maximum of 6 dogs to a class so that I can get around everyone and whilst there is a general course plan, the course is often altered to meet each individual's needs.
We use positive training methods and never push a dog further than s/he can go - pushing them past their limit in class is only counterproductive.
The classes are held at St Timothy's Church Hall, Slinn Street, Crookes and there is on-road parking.
£65 for the full 8 weeks which covers my costs, you also get a free clicker and ringbinder, a 10% discount from the Pawsitively Pets shop for the duration of the course and a certificate of completion and free bag of food at the end!
