sorry shaun don't know of any that I can think of, have you tried contacting the registrar at the town hall for births and deaths?

Town hall can probably help you get hold of census data as well

You can look on the 1901 census on line for free .
Is your family from Sheffield ?

I work with a girl called churm, her family are rotherham based though to my knowledge

There used to be some based at Wales Bar near Kiveton, not sure if they are still about though.
