does anybody no if there is anysort of 20/20 cricket played on saturdays i currently play 44 overs and need a sorter more entertaining format,

I know that the there is the South Yorkshire Twenty/20 cup again this year (went to the finals day last year, and it was a good laugh) but im suprised that there is not a similar tournament at Sheffield League level - I think it would be a success!!

Dont know of any 20/20 league cricket played on Saturdays.

However their are two midweek cricket leagues based in Sheffield

Alliance Midweek Cricket League
Games played on Wednesday evenings

Sheffield Works Midweek Cricket League
Games played on Tuesday/Wednesday evenings

Both 8 ball overs


The South Yorkshire T20 cup again is being hosted at Sheffield United Cricket Ground on Bawtry Road. Think the first game is scheduled some time near the end of June
