does anyone know of a place where we can go for sauna (naked?), steam, swim, spa treatments near Sheffield. Would like to go on Monday 11.07

Not sure about spa bath, but there is an open air swimming pool in Hathersage which is probably about an hour or so away.

Don't think they'd allow skinny dipping though.. Lol.

Spa 1887 on Glossop Road in Sheffield has everything you're after apart from the nakedness!

that's ok I'm not skinny :) It was more the spa thing we were looking for. Does anyone know if the Aqua Sana at Sherwood Forest Center Parcs will take day visitors (I'll maybe call them later)

Center Parcs does rule though, I've been twice, first to the Sherwood Forest one and then the one down at Longleat for my 21st just over 8 years ago.

cheers Rich. just spoken to CP. £55 for the day including refreshments on arrival, lunch, 3hrs in spa, use of gym, entry to rest of site. will check account tonight and see if I can run to that. Been to Sherwood a few times and went in Aqua Sana last time, £25 for an hour in the spa and nothing else included so the vfm is debatable

went to 1877 yesterday, it was hot in and out! was only £15 for two hours of steam, sauna, cold plunge pools and complimentary drinks. good value but maybe a bit cramped when it's busy. Definately worth a go, we'll be back to try again but maybe with a massage next time. Thanks for your suggestions.
