Hi I am thinking of joining a gym, any recomendations?

I go to Virgin and have no complaints about it except it's a bit pricey and my instructor scares me.

I go to Fitness First on Halifax Road. Quite decent

Greens just behind eccy road is very very good, not had 1 problem with anything yet :D

I peronally would recommend the living well gym at the hilton?

my sister goes to virgin, and I've gone along with her a couple of times.Really nice, especialy the spa, sauna, steam etc.(thats all I go for!you can see the gym whilst swimming, so that appeals to me, something to look at whilst on all the gym equiptment.

would help to know where you are living....no one can be arsed with a long ride / drive home after a good workout.

and depends what you want?...fitness? build muscle? or in a social way (god i hate people stood in groups talking while you want to use a machine)

hallam university sports facilities are good and open to the public, city centre and collegiate crescent, excellent classes
