Hi,
Im looking for a Climbing partner to climb with around the Sheffield area. I'm from Australia and I climb a grade 15 aus (not to sure of the uk conversion).
I only have shoes and harness but thats a start.

ok, there is a climbing club on the indoor walls at The edge on bramhall lane, there are some very good climbers they meet on a wed night at 7pm and on a sunday. Any gear you dont have you hire, they are a fab friendly group and some of the more experienced climbers do climb outdoors and have holidays and stuff. hope this is of help to you. xx

there is all so a place called the foundry which is a good indoor place, im sure you will be able to find some one there.

If you're only into rope climbing then as said before the foundry and the edge are good and i'm sure you'll find a partner there, but if you like bouldering check this place out "the climbing works" in Sheffield (they have a website but Sheff Forum won't let me post it!) - dubbed as the largest indoor bouldering place in the world! They have adult improver sessions on wednesday and friday where some arent improvers they are pretty good but looking for new people to climb with!! Everyone's really friendly there!
I can recommend it as i go weekly - always something new to try!

i spend most my spare time at the works.
