ive just been told that the loser takes them all,not sure if thats true but its not a bad pay day for the loser is it (about 4 million i reckon)......hopefully not us like :)

Yeah i think the looser gets around 2.5million, its nice but its not the 60mil you get for going up!!

Don't know about now but when we played wolves it was split evenly, however united and wolves came to an agreement where the losers took the gate money from the play off.

It's not a rule as such, it's been a gentleman's agreement between the clubs for the last few years that the loser gets all of the gate money from the playoff final, as some sort of compensation for missing out on the Premiership cash.
