I moved to Lodge Moor a few months ago but not used the "on demand" feature. Went to watch film last night on demand "V01 error". Rang bt... an hour on the phone... apparently we've been mis sold it 'cos we ain't got the speeds to download stuff.


Just wondered if if anyone else has this problem.

As when out speeds was down below what ws required the refused point blank and a line test had to "pass" to allow it to be ordered

once we got upto speed they said the system will now let us order it so we did


you say moved? did you have it at a previous address and moved to some where and took it with you?

Thats what I said.

The lady on the phone said we can cancel our contract 'cos its been mis sold. Not sure if its worth cancelling it now or not.

do a BT speed check if you use the home hub and see what you get with that?

youve not really been mis sold it if you took it to a new address but at least there been fair about that bit.

Still worth it for the freeview and recording though surely?

I know we took it from our old house but BT kept quiet about it - we're paying for a service we can't use so annoyed about that.
