hi. I'm thinkin of adding a 3rd mma class at 'the forge' martial arts centre for saturdays. Already got some feedback but wondering who'd want to come if i did? Prob run it 11am-1pm. A little more intense than midweek sessions,aimed at potential fighters too as well as complete beginners! Could also do running n tyre work in the summer. ;-)

That's no problem, I always carry it. Hmmm,I'll have to think about that,it's still a bit expensive for me.I'm on a fixed income you see,and have spent my life working and contributing to society,whereas students are totally useless, have money to burn,contributed nothing and they get concessions.But let's stay on topic.Are there any stairs or other obstacles to negotiate?What exactly is Mixed Martial Arts?What Martial Arts are "mixed", do you have to do all "sections"? Can I come and have a look first?:)

Of course you can come look, anytime! Expensive??...... You jokin........, my class i take in Dewsbury in which i do for FREE, they charge £6 for 1 hour class! I think you'll find it hard to find a class for £4 these days at anythin! The other day i had poor turnout coz of rain and my rent was only just covered so i was virtually teaching for Free, so taking that into account i don't think £4 is too much as if i charged less there would be NO POINT in my doing the class and may as well be wroking instead!

yeah all apects are covered, wrestling, stand up, Bjj, clinch, basically every class is different! I skip the "Bull" and get to what actually works in a Fight, MMA fight that is although can be converted to street self defense wise! None of this "If you touch the guys neck here with your thumb he'll die a dramtic deat in 0.01 seconds!", most of what you r ead and hear is total bull. You're not on topic,admittedly I strayed off, but got back on, but since you insist carrying on. I'll have you know I'm not a Troll,they're Scandinavian dwarfs(dwarves?) and live under bridges. I live ....er...oh never mind.Yes,I do like a snooze in the afternoon, right after some bread crusts soaked in warm milk.Sometimes,I wake up to go to the loo,and.. sometimes I don't.When that happens,you're right theres this whiff of ammomia.I only use my bus pass to go to Help the Aged in town or to a Strict Tempo dance(Strict Tempo is Waltzes,Foxtrots etc) and occasionally to Orchis. It's all very well mocking the afflicted from cyberspace Mr. Cracass,but have you any conception of how difficult it is to manouver a Zimmer frame up stairs?....Sorry I just dropped off for a moment,:roll:now I've forgotten where I was.Oh,yes.You're not on topic...oh bugger there I go repeating myself again.I'd better pack it in.It's 8.44.pm,time for Horlicks and bed. Glad to see you at least took it in the spirit that it was intended - be sure to bring this level of banter when you come and train! :D :)
(We can make the gym zimmer accessible but we require some notice. Slippers are optional but not allowed on the mats. :P )
