I subscribe to Your Cat magazine, and was flicking through it last night when I noticed someone I recognised on the pictures page. We have a famous member of the forum! Does anyone else get the magazine, and have you spotted the most famous barmy bengal and dobermutt in Sheffied? ;)

He was in the April edition, on the caught in the act page, he won a lovely little scratching post type thing, didn't last him long though there were cardboard circles on it and he just loves cardboard and ripped it to shreads.

I confess, tis me - awell, Alfie the barmy one and his best buddy Ailsa. Had to go and check because sometimes they stick a pic of me and Alfie in the magazine when we've tested stuff. Alfie was also the first cat featured on their 'you and your cat' feature.

We volunteered to give our views on all things cat and we occasionally get to test new products too (it's worth contacting Your Cat if you're interested).

If you really want to scare little children, me and Beauty the rescue bengal are sometimes featured on the Sheffield College home page (online learning section). It tends to change - I've warned them not to stick me on the back of any buses!

Thanks for the lovely comments - I've missed you guys - since late last year, I've not had much time to update the blog or join in the forum because I was daft enough to enrol on an eComms Foundation Degree that takes up most of my spare time when I'm not involved in cat rescue or caring for our own petting zoo!
