Hi, not quite sure if you can but I will try to find out. Any reason why, may also be able to help you out that way :)

I know you can get the IP address for your PS2 using the network disc, not sure about the MAC though?

Are you trying to FTP into your PS2 by the way?
I've been trying it for a bit now.. its bleeding hard work at my end!

In fact, foxy got me thinking then.
I think I have seen the MAC address you know..

When you complete the tests for connecting to your broadband connection, you have the option of looking at a detailed list of everything the PS2 tested and it gives you further info on there.

It the address on there?

Or in the router log of connected devices, if you have one?

You shouldn't actually need the mac address...

It is possible to swap your cable modem connection between devices. Previously, you had to first register the MAC address of each device you wanted to use with blueyonder via our selfcare system, however following a recent upgrade to blueyonder, you no longer need to register MAC addresses as part of the installation process.

From this help page (http://www.blueyonder.co.uk:80/blueyonder/getContent.jspx?page=h_broadband_advanced_cablemod em). Basically just turn off the cable modem at the mains and leave it unplugged for a few minutes, then plug in the ps2 and connect the modem power again...
