Just get one that supports MMC. You might already have one; my printer has one built in! You can then copy stuff to it drag 'n' drop, then just put your phone back together. If you really don't want to be taking your phone to bits all the time, the best thing to do it buy a bluetooth dongle for your PC. They're about £40 at PC World, but £15 anywhere else. You just turn bluetooth on on your phone, find it using your PC and 'beam' stuff to it. HTH malton_s5 06-07-2005, 19:57 spiffymonkey do you know any sites with info on ? and do you know any where in sheffield that sells bluetooth dongle with software? spiffymonkey 06-07-2005, 20:47 Originally posted by malton_s5 spiffymonkey do you know any sites with info on ? and do you know any where in sheffield that sells bluetooth dongle with software? It's usually the first weekend of the month. As for use, there is usually some help comes with the dongle and with the phone. Once they are set up it's quite straight-forward. Twiglet 06-07-2005, 21:22 John Lewis sell bluetooth dongles for around £20 if thats any help. raskel 06-07-2005, 21:27 you should have got a cable with it.... or you can buy a bluetooth port and bluetooth them across spiffymonkey 07-07-2005, 05:53 Originally posted by steelcitybab you should have got a cable with it.... or you can buy a bluetooth port and bluetooth them across No, Nokia are in the habit of NOT supplying a cable, then charging £40 for one later on ... In fact, the only phone I have ever got the cable with (except 'smart phones') is the K750i. Lurch 07-07-2005, 10:30 Bluetooth dongle is the most flexible way, if you buy a cable then you need to buy one for each phone you have. I use bluetooth for pretty much everything (laptop, PDA, phones, personal and in car handsfree, PC etc...) to save having to upgrade anything other than the phone when that time comes around. scottf 07-07-2005, 10:57 I love that word- Dongle - heehee :D :D muddycoffee 07-07-2005, 11:05 It isn't really a dongle, although in general that's what people know them as. A dongle is a plug which plugs into a computer system which validates software. Used to stop people just copying software. It is a USB bluetooth adaptor. It is a USB bluetooth adaptor. Although I call them Bluetooth Dongles as well I think that the term has largely changed to mean anything you plug into your PC that's not a component (i.e. something fixed) but not really a peripheral. For example, irda adapters, usb pen drives, rf receivers for wireless mice, that sort of thing. raskel 09-07-2005, 21:09 Originally posted by spiffymonkey Which network was that with?
