Only one I can think of is the one at Don Valley Stadium - its on a Monday and Wednesday night. Here's the link - its called "Runltd"

I think there's one called Handsworth Road Hogs which may be nearer. Most running clubs accomodate newbies and have various distances/paces for their training runs.

Also, try the Up & Running website, their Sheffield Shop pages have list of local running clubs. Also, the Clubhouse Forum on Runners World website has a Sheffield Social discussion where Sheffield based runners can chew the fat.
