can anyone recommend a nice gastro pub in sheffield but not the cricket or the inn at troway many thanks

Sorry, but that is not a gastropub it is a chain pub with microwaved meals etc ....
I don't know of any real gastropubs apart from the ones the OP mentions.

The Milestone near Kelham Island or Wortley Arms are both very good.

Coach and Horses next to Sheffield FC ground in Dronfield is always nice food.

I would also suggest the Milestone or the Coach & Horses. Booking reccommended at both.
