ok, my cooursework question is to investigate the relationship between the heights and weights of people in 2 separate classes, useing histograms and cumulative frequency and stuff

If you are being honest, and you really haven't a clue, then the best thing that you can do is go and talk to your teacher about it and ask them to explain what is expected.

That is what they are there for and it is the best way for you to learn something or get a few "clues".

Once you know what a histogram is and what cumulative frequencies are you will understand what is needed, I'm sure.
