Did anyone catch this wonderful mini series, The Lost World Of Mitchell and Kenyon, over 3 one hours of television. It was certainly an eyeopener to see, amongst other things, Yorkshire life at the turn of the 1800/1900s. And a surprise that they were first to make movies that told a story.

Yeah, I've watched every one. Spell-binding stuff. I sat watching each week wondering about the lives of each face that beamed at the camera. It's incredible to think how old these films are, and how different the country looked back then. Definitely one for my dvd collection. Here's hoping there's another container of films hidden in another back room somewhere!
