It's great and has the wonderful added bonus of being just across the road from the finest off licence in Sheffield, The Dram Shop, where you can purchase drinkies to go with the meal.

Rajput gets so many rave reviews and although the curries are pretty good , am I the only one who cannot stand their nan breads?

Taste bought in to me...

We did go to the rajput that night....and i thought it was nice....but abit too spicy for me. I liked that you could take your own bottle of wine. We would go back again if needs be i.e if somone was going for a special occassion but i think we we will stick to our usual/favourite indian restaurant! :)

Best take away and eat in has to be the rajput, excellent service, and they will do you a curry to your taste....i have tried many currys, but nothing has topped the rajput...

Usual 'Indian' restaurant food, done competently, good atmosphere, bring your own is a bonus and it's cheap as chips. Very smart, service generally good and certainly commensurate with price. Doesn't pretend to be anything more than a curry house and is all the better for it. Does often have some very big (often student) groups in which take over the place and can be noisy and pyst but that's the nature of the area. Don't expect too much, you'll love it.
