Are weekly payments possible and is a credit check required? skinz 07-05-2009, 23:54 About £160-80 approx Had a Gold one fitted about 6 months ago...Just under£400 If you have it done then they can't refuse you weekly..it's either that or they can fight you...dentist are to busy making money to do that. I've never experienced credit checks..I just pay after treatment. Private dentists will do this work, but will be much costlier than the NHS quotations above (i.e. £1000+ for a root canal on an upper molar and the crown). commuter 08-05-2009, 12:11 had two root canals done last year, so far one of the teeth has had to come out anyway and another is likely to have to go. To date this has cost me about £500. Now I need two implants at a cost of approx £600 - 800 most treatment of this kind is not within reach financially when you've got a house and two kids so I've ended up delaying treatment for a while but this is now causing problems as I find myself eating on the opposite side all the time wiz* 08-05-2009, 12:24 had two root canals done last year, so far one of the teeth has had to come out anyway and another is likely to have to go. I did this and ended up in a great deal of pain, and a great deal more during the procedure as I developed an abscess and was told that it was very difficult to anaesthetise such an infected area, so the drilling of the root canal was very unpleasant. :( boncurz 08-05-2009, 19:15 Hi, I aready have a full crown that I am having trouble with after having root canal treatment. The problem is my dentist says I will have to have a partial denture for 1 tooth and not a bridge as first offered. I don,t want a denture, is there anything I can do?
