What sort of dingbat would pay two and a half million pounds, for a tiara for their dog?
Oh, wait, yeah, those dingbats with teacup chihuahuas and far more money than sense!

Just look at the expression on that poor Maltese Terrier's face toward the end of the clip... it's like... "FGS what are you doing to me? What the heck sort of numpty do you think I look like!!?

I was actually flabberghasted when I saw this
2.8 mil? *faints* thats ridiculous!
There was some show on a few years ago about how the very rich spent their cash. There was one guy who spent 100 grand on a diamond collar for his dog, and he was forever forking on loads of cash on ludicrously priced items.
I think it's a terrible shame that that money couldn't have been spent to help people. Normally I've nothing against anyone spending their cash any way they like (after all they earned it), but that was just such a blatant extravagant waste of cash, it made me feel a bit sick.
I suppose the people who can afford this stuff are the ones who look least to charity...

My bold. that's my thoughts, too. If I had 2.8 mill to blow on a pathetic glorified dog collar, I would look to spending it on stuff that's a damn sight more worthwhile that that.
I'd be helping charities, like the one I am a trustee on, and the cathedral breakfast etc., as well as local charities like CATS and Rainrescue.
I'm the sort of person who won't wear my diamonds, for fear of losing the ring/ the stones out of the ring, so God only knows how much damage /loss could occur on a dog collar or dog-tiara. (even from something as innocuous as the dog having a quick scratch, could displace one of the stones - and what if they decide to have a scrap with another pampered pooch?
*horrified expression*

Agreed. It's just asking for trouble... Hey look at that dog with the millions around its neck. Shall we go steal it!
