***£2 ENTRY WITH YOUR FUZZ BBQ TICKET!!***
Fuzz Club happily presents...
JOHNNY FOREIGNER
Birmingham trio who revel in highly charged, energetic noise-pop, akin to the like made by Los Campesinos (who the band have supported at NY's Bowery Ballroom) and Dananananaykroyd.
The band released "Waited Up 'Til It Was Light" in the June of last year to favourable reviews across the board (NME 8/10, Drowned In Sound 8/10, Rock Sound 9/10).
With a new album due later this year and an insatiable appetite for touring and general indie-rock mayhem, this promises to be a golden evening of lovliness and glee.
"This first single from Waited Up Til It Was Light says so much with just post-it notes & aerial shots, perhaps forever changing the voice of UK indie rock."
Pitchfork
"turbo-charged, noisy and downright promising"
NME
"...a breathless, deathless rush of possibilities, Ritilan rock exploding with ideas and imagination."
Kerrang!

with support from...
TUBELORD

"Hmmm... those lyrics sure sound like a Mark David Chapman scenario to me."
-Michael Azerrad
