Don't they switch her off to save the batteries?

Corgi walking, a game of whist with Phil? Must be a strange existence.

This is all official information; she does indeed enjoy watching Countdown, she regularly bets considerable money on her horse racing, she is not shy of the odd drink, and she is perfectly capable of wringing the neck of a Pheasant.

So if you were to say that she watches daytime TV, gambles, drinks and then goes out to pull the odd bird; you wouldn't be too far from the mark!

I think she goes shooting, driving round a landrover on her considerable estate, dining, blah blah... lol

I'm sure she comes to Sheffield on secret boozing jags.
At any rate there was a woman who just looked like her , staggering up Fargate last Saturday , p****d out of her mind and shouting at passers-by.
If anybody spotted her , she was wearing a baseball cap and bright pink jeans.
Is it right that the Monarch should be spending tax-payers money in this fashion ?
And what an example to be setting the young ladies of Sheffield !

The answer to this one is simple - she has no spare time. There are all those meals and walks and dedications, as well as having a family to look after, and us parents know how difficult that is without being in the limelight all the time.

What spare time? You mean when she manages to finally get some sleep? I imagine she sleeps.

there's nowt wrong wi Camilla ... but even better idea, let's not have a King Charles ...

Sorry you feal that way dazzler. I am a royalist so have the opposite view, of course. The royal family bring more revenue into this country than they take out of it. Of course there are problems, but aint that the norm?

Get rid of parlament and give the moanrchy some real power. This country has gone down the toilet since we stopped having a proper ruling monarch. The more power politicians take from the royals, the worse the rest of us are.

Course - we all know that cannot happen. *sigh*

I agree with you Kristian, but that's just cos we've been very lucky with the last two monarchs, both steady, responsible and conscientious incumbents. Just imagine what'd have happened if David, "Duke of Windsor" hadn't abdicated ...

I was proud of the Queen yesterday ... and she's provided continuity for us for the last umpteen years ... but we could have ended up with Margaret ... it's all an accident of birth and you don't know who you might get and no possibility of getting rid at the next election... :help:

hj dary - swan butties- loving it! :D
