My little man has been diagonosed with kennel cough this morning poor little lamb. I know its just a case of wait and see but what can I do to make him a bit happier?

He doesn't seem to be drinking as much he should be and not really interested in his tea last night. (Wolfed the cheese down this afternoon though then spat the tablet out! :hihi:)

Any advice greatly appreciated! :help:

Benilyns cough medicine from the chemist half a small dose, ice cubes or honey in warm water

It does have to be childrens benylin and childrens dose. This will ease the cough, but not cure it, you will need antibiotics for that. It does appear worse after excersise or excitment so it may be worth cutting the walks down a little and also you will need to avoid other dogs.

It usually clears up within a couple of weeks of antibiotics.

He already has the antibiotics just wanting to try and sooth his throat a little. Didn't get chance to get to a chemist yesterday but tried the honey and water he wasn't impressed at all. Will try again later silly sod doesn't know i'm trying to help!

Poor little lad looks so sorry for himself just sat coughing in the corner.
