Hello

Im looking to organise a surprise 50th party for my mum and need a room or pub that is big enough for around 50 people and preferaby free or very cheap...

We will be arranging our own food and disco so just need the room, i have looked on the various threads but cant find what im looking for :(

Ive phoned a few places but all are either booked or too expensive.

Any ideas? :)

any really, dont mind travelling as long as its not too far, my mum is at gleadless so close to there would probably be best. :)

have you tried the cricket club near the water tower we have done a party there nice room.
or have you tried farm road club near the old ice rink ?

Don't know places in Gleadless, but try St Thomas church Crookes, the have function rooms for all sorts of occasions and reasonable and they do the catering, last time I enquired. Im guessing they're not licensed tho as its a church funtion rooms :hihi:

Also Queens Social Club on Queens Road has a large function area, give them a try......2725544

There's the Black Bull in Ecclesfield who have a function room.
