ITV only cater for Windows users, it won't work on my Mac.

Another reason to get a Mac.

the ITV player is available on Virgin Media's TV service if you have that, much better than the web based version too.

compared to BBC i player, its pathetic

doesnt put everything on the net which i hate! where as BBC i player you can get everything!

yeah thats true, BBC's iplayer is much better in terms of available programming, however, the iplayer was weak when it launched before growing into what it is now, the ITV net player will grow in just the same way

it is good we get it with our bt vision

although will this carry across onto all players?

Virgin won't pass on that charge to customers, i cant speak for BT though
