True but, what about the ones who insist on sending messages and emails when the advert states "please phone".

In the olden days... buying and selling privately was always done on the phone before there were computers.

Puzzles me why people get paranoid about their phone numbers too.

....that's happened to me too, it's annoying. I suppose they didn't want it that much after all. That's all I can think.

even if you ring mobile you can see that it says MISSED CALL lol

I would have thought if you were wanting to sell something you would get rid asap. can't see any problem myself ! I placed a for sale advert on here for a cooker and was inundated with private messages for it, it was sold within the hour !! many thanks to Sheffield Forum Classifieds :thumbsup:

Why would you put a phone number on here anyway ?? there is a private message function that allows you not to put up any personal details if you dont want anyone else to see ?? are you real ?? My spidey senses say that you are fishing for something....

i get fed up with some, in all my adds if its collection i will State "collection from S26 area, J31 of M1"

The amount of PMS i get asking where abouts am i! its so frustrating! its not as if S26 is a huge area either!

then the ones that ask for a post code for a sat nav, and with been a new build i do tell them it goes to wrong place but i always get "no my sat nav will get me there"

5 or 10 mins after arranged time i am garunteed a phone call :D

sat nav is amazing(!) I remember maps. Cost me £1.99 from The Works every year and gets me from A to B without driving off a cliff. :hihi:
