I drove over Crookes about half an hour ago and almost knocked a little Westie over at the top of Slinn St.
They look like they'd just run off from the side road that leads to the Bolehills.
I've been driving round the Western Rd area looking for them as I think they were both startled by what happened.
Has anyone seen them...I want to know that they got home OK as they just dashed into the road and don't appear to have any road sense.

By any chance did one have a blue collar and the other a red one?

It happened so quickly and I was a bit shaken up, but I think the one I nearly hit had a red collar. My 84 yr old mum nearly went thro the windscreen so I didn't really see the other one, but they dashed over Slinn St and looked to be going down Wester Rd, but they'd disappeared by the time I managed to go back, because there are temp traffic lights where it happened.
Are they yours? I'm really worried about them.

No not mine, I just see a woman near me who walks 2 regularly round my area, but I am in Heeley so doubt would be them.

Two westies went missing at Waterthorpe on Thursday. I have no more detail than that and can't contact anybody who'll know until tomorrow but if you want to pm your phone number please do. A friend who's involved with dog rescue knows about these dogs and if they are the same ones any information is good news.

I'll send you a pm with my number so please call tomorrow if you don't want to give your number.

No they were a different pair, so lets hope those 2 are ok.

Aw, I'm glad they got back home safely anyhow. Their owners must be so relieved.
I just wish I knew what happened to 'my' two. :(
Am wasting petrol and increasing carbon emissions driving round looking for them!!:loopy:
I think I'd better assume that they are OK if no-one has seen them...perhaps they had just escaped from a garden and have gone home....
