I`ve just spent the last hour trying to catch him.

He was on Frecheville park last seen on Churchdale Road.

He is only young i think but is a pale chocolate brown ( a bit reddy colour in the sunshine) and very tall but thin.

He has a collar but no tag which is a shame as i could probably have managed to read a phone number, every time i tried to catch him he was off at top speed. Lots of people were trying to entice him over but he seems very nervous of people and wouldn`t get near enough to them.

I hope that someone who knows who he belongs to reads this and can let them know where he was seen, he looks gorgeous but it seems that he will only go to someone that he knows.

I`ve put this here as more people are likely to see it than in the pet forums. Doglost has been checked and there is no mention of him on therebut he may have only just been lost.

Very good of you to post this. Hopefully the dog will be reunited with its owner. If it can be prevented/delayed from going to the pound - it will save the owner a fair few quid. Also - there might be someone with not as good intentions with their eye on the dog!

If he's a pale chocolate brown are you sure he's a Weimaraner? I thought they were all blue grey?

If he's pale brown then could he be a viszla instead?
