do i need a hardrive to play on xbox live?

are can i use a memory card

its a prem version but not got hardrive with it

also as anybody got a spare 1 they want to sell

you will need a hard drive mate just for the crappy avatar you'll need at least an old 20 gig one but you can get the 60 gig's pretty cheap.
