Is it any good?
Going for a wander through Ecclesall Woods tomorrow so will probably end up on t'trendy road, and am tempted by something different from my usual Sunday morning stuff.
Cheers! :-)

It's good. Eggs Florentine has my vote.

I went!
Had the kedgeree with some red orange juice - was absolutely luvverly and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Was a bit worried that it would be heaving, being a Bank Holiday weekend and sunny, but there was plenty of choice over where to sit.
Staff were very easy on the eye and cheerful. I have to confess I actually stopped there quickly for a cup of tea last week and was thinking they were a bit diffident and not as pro-active as they could be.
But now I've been again, I'm thinking that may have been more to do with the fact that the layout is more than a bit confusing. There is a restaurant back room, bar, restaurant front bit, coffee place, and outdoor bit from what I could make out.
So it's kind of hard to direct customers, especially when they are dithering like me. If I go back I'll know where I want to sit straight away and ask to head there, rather than erming and ahing and relying on the staff to place me.
I also had some cake things and one of their hot chocolates Just Because They Were There and because I'm greedy.
The cake things weren't actually cakes - more like profiteroles filled with custardy stuff. One had some mysterious green filling, two had chocolate filling, and two had yellow filling. All were excellent. And the hot chocolate was like, melted chocolate in a cup. Divine.
I will be back....

Was there many orange people there when you went?

I have been to Nonna's many times whilst on trips back to Sheffield. (I have just moved back for good now!). The food is wonderful. i have never had a bad meal, whether is just a late breakfast, a coffee and some biscotti or a full blown mega bucks meal. I highly recommend it. The wine bar is a bit posey, and yes there were 'lots of orange' people there (see previous post!) but its worth it. Just avoid the wine bar. Marco the smalller slightly rounded barista makes the best coffee out of all of them. Excellent place. You won't be disappointed. :)

Hey I'm not the style police :-) LOL and if I was I'd probably have arrested myself many times in the past! If people want to fake tan, then that's fine with me (unless I'm planning on rubbing my naked skin against them and turning orange myself, but somehow based on my current track record, that seems unlikely).
To answer your question, I didn't notice any orange people. But I'll keep an eye out next time I am in there.
oh my god £4.25 for a pint of beer put me off. Once bitten, twice shy. No amount of trendy decor will mke me part with that amount of cash for a pint!
