There are loads...St Andrews Trophy, Carnoustie Tassie. There is a golf festival week at Southerness....loads of them up and down the county. No handicap limit for most of them.

Just type in golf festival into Google, and start from there.

How old are you because there are junior comps, mid amateur for 35-55 age range, and seniors 55-70. Plus all over europe....friends of mine go to play in European mid amateur quite often. It was in Bled a few years back at a great course. Marbella this year so the handicap limit was scratch I think.

Yorkshire Order of Merit are for top players whereas most courses have a few Open Comps in the year that can be medal rounds, stablefords, teams of 4 and often you get on for cheaper than the green fee.
