CorkerSWFC 30-04-2009, 19:34 Well from what ive seen of him he isnt that much cop, if you do go up you will need more than him to stop some of the wingers in the premiership. Earwiggo 30-04-2009, 19:37 I were gunna say, it makes no odds, he'll be one of the many outa the door at United anyway. He's barely a Championship player. He's been Mr Reliable this season, although he has problems against pace.I do think it might be a blessing in disguise though after seeing Kyle Walker.I think he-along with Naughton-are well capable of holding down their positions-even in the Premiership (yes I know we ain't there yet). Both got enough potential Rock, but don't you think the Prem is a year or two too soon for young 'uns like these? The gap is massive between the two leagues as you know? A lot of players do get found out, as both Sheffield clubs know. We can only see...if we do actually get there mate.Blackwell said he was saving Ward for the future but he's seen something there-though again only at Championship level. We would need five or six players if we went up;assuming out of the loan players we sign Halford.Gary Speed obviously is one for the future now he's fit again...:D sheff71 02-05-2009, 18:47 Sad news, he's been very reliable this season, a calm head at the back. Not sure how long Naughton can cover at left back for, as he's not as comfortable on that side, may need to look at bringing someone in, even on loan... What about Frank Simek you can have him for half a million he's another of the stale ones down at Hillsborough. I don't care what any1 say's you can't be injured all the time he has same as Sodje they both need selling. |
