Like a silly sod I've not labeled my herbs and now I have all these little seedlings. Most of it looks like grass shoots to be honest but one row of em have developed tiny little black pods on the end that look like they are going to do summat interesting. Any incline what they are if you might be familiar with what certain seedlings look like? Everything else looks like cress lol. I seeded this lot about a month back with a 90% sucess rate in a mini greenhouse. Should they all survive or is there anything that might trip me up between seedling stage and transferring to permanent growing trays? (Least I'll know what the buggers are then). I've even got the carrots, spring onions, and cauliflour mixed up lol!
Bugger me, half of em have gone that way now. I know Spring Onions and Chives do it. Main thing is 95% of stuff is growing!!! I just hope I can distinguish herbs from veg before replanting stage lol
Go to the library and get a book on herbs, one which will not only help you identify them but how to preserve and use them.
If you want anymore help PM me.
