View Full Version : What is the point in going red?

People with fair skin tend to go red when embarrassed. However, I seem to go red even when I'm not embarrassed and just talking to someone normally. It'll just come out of nowhere. Then I'll think "I'm going red! Why??!! Oh no, they think I'm imagining them naked or something, or with a giant wooden spoon up their ass".

My question is, what is the biological justification for going red? Or is it just one of those annoying things that "just is"?

I knew a girl who had an albino boxer. I've seen that blush after it pooed in the kitchen!

I dunno why it happens tho

I go red when talking to people sometimes & people will actually say " what you going red for"?

They think I'm embarassed about something when there's absolutely no need for me to be at all.

:huh:

lol. Are you sure it wasn't just because it pushed really hard? That can make the blood rush to your head.

To quote Mark Twain;

Man is the only animal that blushes. Or needs to.

To quote Mark Twain;

Man is the only animal that blushes. Or needs to.

And to quote Shania Twain;

Man, I feel like a woman.

(neeeeeeeeeek will gauge the relevance of that ;))

I would never turn against one of my own, my red faced brother. I feel your pain, but do not wish to inflict it.

lol, why are you going red??

Not red at the moment but it can be triggered by those who like to inflict pain, suffering and unnecessary embarrassment!

I'm a serial blusher too, although I have rosy cheeks normally too.

It winds me up dreadfully, but I have yet to find a point to it or a solution for it.

I'm not sure if I'm blessed or not but it takes a hell of alot to make me blush.

I blush at things I shouldn't blush at, and don't blush when I should. Backwards or what.
