Hi all haven't posted on here really since I joined but I aim to start now just as long as you guys can put up with me lol!:loopy:
I am very much in recycling and bargain hunting for our allotment at carboots etc. my beloved likes the idea too because it saves him his pennies.
Here's an idea I have used for a while now most of you will know about using milk cartons as plant labels but I always found them to be a little too flimsy.
I use plastic/light coloured 6ft Venetian blinds from the carboots haggle and you can get them as low as 50p you don't need to worry about it being bent or not having the proper fixings either because all you are going to do is strip the all thing down and cut into 3 or 4 inch sizes.
The best thing about them is that you can make them as long or as short as you require just use a Sharpie pen and there you go brilliant labels for next to nothing!.Hel.xxx.
