There's a fine line between art and insanity, and this guy is so far across it he probably never knew there was one ...

Art is created by a person with a skill and talent.
Turning on a tap is hardly evidence of neither!
The story of the emperors new cloths comes to mind!

What about Duchamp's urinal?
(Not that I'm suggesting this is quite on the same level of artistic merit :))

R.Mutts urinal does come to mind, but this is an age old argument.
Also that work had cerebal merit and was about 70 years ago.
This idiot who say's he is an artist is a waste of water.Down South they have been restricting water useage, such as hosepipes etc: & this moron want's to waste water on the basis that it is art.Thames Water should bill him for the water he uses & that would stop the loser.Rolf Harris is a true artist.

Art, I think, can be created by anyone, children, convicts, mental patients, pensioners, blind people, people who died thousands of years ago, not just "artists" in floppy hats and smocks stood at easels, no actual skill/talent is required to express yourself.
For every Mondrian painting there will be hundreds of people who would rather see a nice Constable landscape with plenty of sheep and some "farmers".
You could argue that art can only be commented on by people who know something about art, in the same way that we have wine experts to comment on which wine is good.
Personally, I'll give any kind of art a go, I like old and new, paintings and sculpture, architecture and opera, stained glass and gardens.
Im a 16 year old artist, and i hate this sort of art, it gets me mad when i see a big canvas with a dot in the middle or something goes for thousands and thousands....
Very nice, are you a fan of Dali and Magritte, they seem to have influenced your art ?
