im only asking cos my little girl (14 months) has been throwing up for the last few hours on and off in bits and bobs. shes eaten a couple of spoons of yoghurt and a little bit of water, i cant get her too keep any medicine down and shes very tierd, she was a little warm but has cooled down now, and its not actually sick now its more like clear flem stuff and i know her stomaches empty as shes gagging as sometimes nothings coming out. she was ok this morning though
everyone in house is ok except me ive been very exhusted over last few days but no sickness.
only thing i can think which could have upset her stomach is yesterday she ate a little bit of lavander plant, but is lavander harmfull?
We had a sickness bug in Nursery last month and it hit several of the staff as well as children :(
Not sure about lavender

My LO has been vomiting for the last two nights. First loads (vomit everywhere!) and on the second night only a little because, bless him, he's only managed to eat about 3 spoons of porridge all day. Also had a touch of diarroeah and I had to put him back in his nappies. He seems a little brighter today so I hope it's over but I'll be ready with the towels in the bedroom just in case!

anyone got any tips on how to help this pass quicker or make it a little more bearable at least? PLEASE! :hihi:

Don't bother with rehydration fluids. They're expensive and unnecessary. I've just been drinking orange juice diluted by half and lots of it. If you can stand not eating (if you felt like me you won't want to anyway!) that's better as the bug will travel faster through your gut and be expelled sooner if you don't add any food to slow it down - if that makes sense. Mine lasted for 24 hours and now it's gone thank goodness!
